TradFi expertise meets DeFi

Before moving into the crypto space in early 2017, our founder has valued assets at a $60bn+ investment management firm as well as consulted 16+ central and commercial banks at Oliver Wyman.

Our team is experienced in valuation of different asset classes and structuring of very complex deals. We have connected exchanges (eg. Binance) with institutional clients as well as formed a network of hedge funds that manage more than $200 billion dollars daily.

Our expertise allows us to attract Web2 capital, find synergies with TradFi firms for our portfolio companies and assess the projects on a deeper level. Oversubscribed’s scoring model is verified by contributors from Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan.

Criteria for startups

We do not disclose our full scoring model, but here are some of the necessary criteria:

DeFi, CeFi or Infrastructure. If your project is in a different vertical, you can still apply, but we are likely to redirect you to a friendly fund

Signals of potential product-market fit (users, first revenue) or team’s ability to achieve it (successful previous exits or other achievements)

Investment process steps

1. Application
We require standard fundraising documents as well as filling in our questionnaire – so that we can kick start our due diligence even before we have a call
2. Reply from our team
Get our decision about a pitch meeting within a week – or a rejection with an explanation. No ghosting
3. Pitch meeting
1-hour long call for you to showcase your product – and for our investment committee to ask all the pressing questions
4. Investment commitee
We are going to consider moving further internally and give you our answer
5. Diligence
We spend a week on intensive research – we will ask you for references and communicate intensively during this week to speed up the process
6. Term sheet negotiation
The next step would be the term sheet negotiation – it generally requires one more week of our time
7. Signing the deal
And getting your transfer. Finally getting your reward after an intense month
